Edinburgh International Airport is just 7 miles, or 25 minutes via taxi, from The Principal Edinburgh. A typical fare is under £20 (this may be higher on public holidays).There is regular tram service for £5.50 for a single trip, or £8.50 return, which takes about 40 minutes and stops on Princes Street. Guests can also take the Airlink Bus which is located on Waverley Bridge.

Street parking is free between 6:30pm - 8.30am every day, and is free all day on Sunday. Outside of these hours there is a maximum parking time of three hours for £3.60 per hour.On-site parking is available at the hotel. All reservations must be made with our concierge; pre-booking is essential to guarantee a space. Charges are as follows: £19.50 for 24 hours Sunday to Thursday; £22 for 24 hours Friday and Saturday; day parking until 6:00 PM for £10, and short stays at £2.50 per hour. Bus/coach parking is not available.
