Boasting an enviable location in the Edinburgh city centre, the historic and chic Principal Edinburgh George Street, Formerly The George Hotel, is close to Edinburgh Castle, Princes Street Gardens, Royal Mile, and Holyrood Palace. It has modern looking and elegant rooms, conference and meeting rooms.This Grade II listed building with its distinctive facade was designed over two hundred years ago and has undergone a great refurbishment project transforming the majority of the bedrooms and public areas. The architecturally-designed interior has created a sense of restored grandeur with simple detailing and the use of rich materials.All of the room includes flat-screen TV, free WiFi, luxury toiletries, and an en suite bathroom.The Printing Press restaurant serves seasonal Scottish produce throughout the day and night. It is open 7 days a week offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a late-night bar until 01:00. Coffee, cakes, pastries, sandwiches and salads are available at Burr & Co, open 7 days a week. A full room service menu is also available.

Edinburgh International Airport is just 7 miles, or 25 minutes via taxi, from The Principal Edinburgh. A typical fare is under £20 (this may be higher on public holidays). There is regular tram service for £5.50 for a single trip, or £8.50 return, which takes about 40 minutes and stops at St Andrew Square. Guests can also take the Airlink Bus which is located on Waverley Bridge.

For further information on Q-Park OMNI then please click here, on arrival please drop luggage at the hotel and our Concierge will be happy to guide you. The cost is £10 per 24 hours. Bus/coach parking is not available.
