I did not stay. I went into the room and checked things out. The bedding had stains and mold on it. I requested a refund and got a BS story.I would never recommend anyone stay at this dump!

We have stayed at this hotel previously and have had a very enjoyable experience every time. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and quiet and we love the convenience of the hop on, hop off tram having a stop right on the property! We also like that it is less than a mile from the historic downtown, which makes for a nice walk when the weather is agreeable.

The Howard Johnson Inn with newly renovated rooms with Thomasville furniture, is located in the heart of the beautiful downtown Historic District, directly in front of the "Fountain of Youth Museum". It is the only hotel included on the route of the Old Town Trolleys and St. Augustine Sightseeing Trains. Enjoy the afternoon under our 640 year old Oak Tree, the "Old Senator".
