Great location, clean hotel. Breakfast was delicious and staff great. Thankful for the herbal sleepy time tea in the room. That was definitely a treat before bed and we appreciated it.

I booked a night at the Country Inn and Suites by Radisson in St. Augustine, FL and had an extremely disappointing experience. I suffer from severe allergies and specifically needed a room without carpet. Upon arrival, I asked the receptionist about the room conditions. She confirmed the room had carpet but kindly offered to show me the room before I made a decision. As soon as I saw it, I knew it wouldn’t work for me. The receptionist suggested another nearby hotel that had no carpet and even provided directions. She assured me that my booking would be canceled given my allergy situation. Relieved, I went to the suggested hotel and had a great stay there. However, the next morning, I discovered that Country Inn and Suites had charged me for the night despite never staying there. When I called to explain the situation, they refused to issue a refund, even though their own staff had seen the problem firsthand and had assured me the booking would be canceled. This hotel not only lacks proper customer support but also seems to have no regard for guests with health concerns. Be very cautious when booking here; they might end up charging you regardless of whether they can accommodate your needs. This experience felt like a scam and left me feeling robbed.
