Property Description

Youth Hotel Lav is the very first youth hotel for travelers in Neum, but also in Bosnia as well on the Balkans. In fact it is a three-star hotel that due to the lack of similar accommodation in Neum, we transformed to youth hotel adapted for young travelers who have limited budgets. Our general idea and goal starting in 2017 was to offer a quality hotel room at hostel prices, bearing in mind that the price per person is not higher than the average price of a hostel on the Adriatic coast, as well as in Mostar and Sarajevo. Now that we are entering our third year, we want to make the next step and to connect with an even larger number of young travelers and organizations. We offer : single, twin, double, triple and quadruple rooms with private bathroom equipped with hair dryer and shower. Rooms are simply furnished, featuring TV (LCD), air conditioning, free Wi -Fi, and free parking on site. Some of the rooms contain balcony or terrace equipped with outdoor furniture so you can enjoy peacefully in amazing sunsets away from noisy streets. In addition for groups we offer : a shared professional kitchen, two physically separated parts of the dining room(restaurant) and large outdoor terrace. All of those common areas can be used for various activities of these organized groups 24/7. Located in a quiet part of Neum, away from crowd and noise, but yet close enough to be on the beach in 12 minutes by foot or 4 minutes by car, Youth Hotel Lav offers a perfect environment for families, couples as well as various organizations, companies and associations, for holidays as well as for pre-planned activities or meetings. And finally, Neum is an ideal place to start your tour around Herzegovina, Kravice, Blagaj and Mostar are no more than two hours driving, while Nature Park "Hutovo Blato" is only half an hour drive away. Dubrovnik is hour drive away and all other beautiful places on Adriatic coast are within two hours drive.

Airport & Shuttle Information

The two nearest airports are in Dubrovnik and Mostar. Dubrovnik airport is bigger international airport and it's exactly 83 kilometers from Neum. Taxi is too expensive so the best option is the bus. It is a hour and half drive and it will cost you between 15 - 20 KM. As a transfer to Bosnia includes a border crossing, make sure you have all the necessary documents for doing so. Mostar is somewhat smaller and does not have so many regular flights. There are no local or long distance bus lines from or to Mostar Airport. If you anyway want to take a bus to reach a town within the country you will first have to reach one of the main bus stations in Mostar and take a bus to your destination. Trip to Neum should not take more than two hours and it will cost you 20 KM. You will also have to cross border, so make sure you have all the necessary documents for doing so.
