The Desmond Hotel Great Valley is only one of the two full service Desmond hotels in the country; known for their Colonial ambiance and superior service. The hotel is hidden at the beginning of a corporate park across the street is a small shopping complex. The hotel features 3 restaurants, The Hunt Club for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Fox & Hounds Pub and during summer months, Sunset Grille on the outdoor desk area. Other amenities include indoor pool, fitness center, free parking, complimentary shuttle service (10 mi. radius), gift shop on-site and beautifully landscaped grounds with picnic area. They also have event space that can accommodate up to 500 guests. In all my encounters with the staff each was professional and friendly; I would recommend this hotel to any traveler whether on business or for leisure.

I’m pretty well traveled and this place was great. Very clean, comfy beds, friendly staff and the food was top notch. The location is nice too. There is a shuttle that will take you anywhere within five miles. I didn’t use it but heard from others in my group that it was very convenient. Outdoor spaces and dining were nice too.

Every time room next door flushed the toilet, the toilet in our room would spurt water and gurgle. Also the A/C blew directly on our faces. And people using the ice machine at 6 am also disturbed our rest (we were located across the hall from that room).
