The location is a part of the Red River Forest Park (Parque Florestal do Rio Vermelho), a peace of paradise in the Atlantic Rain Forest.The Pousada Oceanomare was completely renovated at the end of 2011.There are 26 charming accomodations, well-integrated in the surrounding nature. The contemporary rustic style of decorating combines the comfort of simple living with natural elegance.

The Pousada Oceanomare is focused on social and environmental responsibility. Always thinking in ecological dynamics in respect of flora, fauna, topography, and the use of fresh-water by humans. It respects nature, a legacy of life and beauty through various forms:Our location was designed by observing the ecology of our nature. Every day we working to rebuild the beautiful landscape. Our heating system is running by solar panels, the kitchen is separating garbage, using the water which comes from the hill. As well we are working with an ecological laundry service.We are participating several regional ecological activities.
