5.8 miles from our Hotel (aproximately 14-17 minutes in a Cab) Puerto Vallarta Aiport (Airport Code = PVR) is officially named Licenciado Gustavo Diaz Ordaz International Airport, named after President Gustavo Diaz Ordaz.Since Puerto Vallarta is such a well-known destination in Mexico, the Puerto Vallarta airport handles a high volume of tourists every year – over 2.5 million passengers in 2011 alone.
Local Shuttle Info: We do not have our own shuttle service. But we will be more than happy to arrange your transportation through the VIP Service that AEROMOVIL provides to our Guests at the International Airport. A $35USD charge in an AC De luxe Vehicle (1 way trip 1-4 persons) AEROMOVIL´s Staff will wait for you with a sign inside the International Arrivals luggage pick-up area, and they will take you to their VIP room to assign a DeLuxe vehicle. To reserve we must have your detailed flight information. The payment, can be made directly at our front-desk once you have arrived. If you decide to take the standard Taxi service from the airport; as you step out of the International arrivals gate, there are 3 Taxi services, they all charge the same ( per zone) it costs between $22-$24 USD (1 to 3 persons) and it is a full size private Car (with AC).
