While Connie was amazing when I checked it very late, positive attitude and friendly demeanor and wonderful to talk to. The condition of the room left a lot to be desired. Damage from previous guests existed but wasn’t spending much time in the room anyway. Room was cleaned but still had stains on the wall and the grout work was starting to turn colors in the shower.

My husband and I are visiting from Utah and I'm shocked how dirty, ghetto and trashed Tacoma is. Everything around the hotel is rough to say the least. The hotel premises is poorly maintained. Given the state of the outside I was surprised our room wasn't as bad as I had envisioned. The floors and walls in the room and main areas are stained with who knows what. Sink is gross, shower is gross, walls are gross. Floors have crumbs and trash and doesn't look like it's ever been vacuumed. The dresser is missing handles. The TV remote doesn't work. The sheets had dried blood. Not a blood stain but dried blood that flaked off when touched. I'm a DEEP sleeper and can sleep comfortably in cars, planes, camping, etc but I had a hard time sleeping here. The A/C unit is unbelievably loud we decided to turn it off and open the window. The only upside is that there was plenty of hot water. We'll be checking out early and starting our 14 hr drive back to UT rather than stay another night here. I would recommend avoiding staying here if at all possible.

The staff is amazing. We actually had issues getting to the hotel and ended up getting there a full day late. We did let them know of the situation on the phone and they were very understanding, we did not lose our rooms!
