The Honolulu International Airport is 10 miles away from the Waikiki Resort area, roughly 20-30 minute drive. Individuals may find that taking an airport shuttle when they land (no reservations needed) is the least expensive way to go. More than 2 persons should take a taxi as it will be less expensive to share. Taxi's cost about $45 one way and shuttles are about $15 per person each way.
