"Great Mid-Scale hotel"

The Hampton Inn Exton Downingtown is a great mid-scale hotel located near major highways and shares a parking lot with Hoss’s and Chicago Uno’s Restaurants. Down the street is a large shopping center with Giant Grocery store, Applebees and many other shops/restaurants. The lobby is on the smaller size, doubles as the breakfast area but is a popular gathering spot for guests. Hotel amenities include breakfast, has a manager’s reception on Wednesday evenings, free parking, comp WIFI, laundry facilities, fitness center, outdoor pool and is pet friendly. There is no deposit or nightly fee to bring your pet along. Guest rooms feature updated décor, new bedding, refrigerator, microwaves and coffee makers. The building is older that has been well maintained, clean and showing the staff’s pride. Within the next year expect more improvements to come with corridors and guest bathrooms. With my personal experience the staff was friendly, helpful and professional. This hotel is perfect for any type of group with business or leisure especially for weddings and sports teams.

This was my third stay at this Hotel. I enjoy the cleanliness of the rooms, hallways, breakfast area and front lobby. The staff are always pleasant and accommodating. Rooms are quiet and beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are clean, shower pressure is strong and water is always hot. The location is ideal for easy access to major highways, yet grounds are kept clean and hotel is quiet. I always feel safe during my stays.

After multiple calls to confirm we could check in early, we were turned away. Told there was no money on our credit card? Had to spend the night at the Fairfield across the street. Checked in later the next day. Beds were hard. Seemed clean enough. Breakfast was some type of glutinous porridge and waffles. No fresh fruit. Overall, this was the worst Hampton Inn I have ever stayed at. Very disappointed with my check in process. I will never stay at another Hampton.

The team you have at this hotel. Was Exceptional from the desk, to the cleaning staff and management. I'm a US Army veteran who was in crisis. I wouldn't have made it through without the professionalism and compassion of your staff. I mean this from the bottom of my heart. May God bless that crew the management.
