A friend and I came to Vegas to see Paul McCartney and stayed at Mandalay Bay. Our room was extremely nice and the restaurants gave us lots of choices. Lots of action in the casino too. Beautiful place.

Hotel room seemed outdated. Shower knob fell off the wall. Was given a handicapped room when not needed. Chair in shower had mold all over it. For the price of the room, I’ve had better rooms at holiday inn. Definitely wouldn’t return here if ever back in Las Vegas.

I made a reservation for a king bed strip view and when I arrived I was told only a two queen bed room was available, or I could pay more for a king suite, as the rooms are “first come, first serve.”What is the point of a reservation if you don’t get to keep the room you originally selected? Very crappy business practice. Then when I got to my room the odor of marijuana was overwhelming, but after 15 20 minutes I was able to contact hotel services, at which time the issue was resolved and I was moved to another room. Thereafter my stay was pleasant…I just could have done without the check in issues.

From the minute we arrived, nothing seemed to work. Mobile checkin did not work, no one picked up the phone at the bell desk, card didn't work for room so had to wait in line all over again. The room was disgusting. While it was cleaned everyday there was gum stuck to the bed and remnants of prior guests food everywhere pretzels on the lower shelf on nightstand, cheerios behind the lamp, coffee/soda stains on the sheets.
