The Holiday Inn Express Harrisburg NE is a mid-service hotel is conveniently located off of I-81 North of Harrisburg/Hershey area. The hotel completed its major renovation over a year ago and still looks brand new. The lobby is mid-sized, very welcoming with sunlight and high ceilings plus it has everything right there; breakfast area with a community table including built in plugs/internet cable plugs, computers for guest use, small room as a game room, seating with TV and fireplace, guest laundry, fitness center and down the hall to the indoor pool. All guest rooms include complimentary WIFI, frig and microwave, comp breakfast, free parking. This is a great hotel for any traveler but a great bet for families and sports teams!

My wife, son and his son, (our grandson) stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Harrisburg on 12/13/25 to 12/14/25 for my grandsons Cheer competition in Hershey. The hotel check in was very quick, the attendant was very nice and her customer service skills were excellent. The hotel is extremely well maintained, clean and very nice. The rooms were very clean, bathrooms great and plenty of towels. We had the complimentary breakfast, which included a great assortment of food. bagels, muffins, sausage patties, hash brown potatoes, cheese nachos, various juices, coffee, danish and many other options. Great job. I had the pleasure of meeting the manager Nick, today 12/14/25 as we were about to check out and I complimented him on the cleanliness of the breakfast buffet and also the cleanliness of the hotel and the excellent staff. This hotel is only 10 minutes from the Hershey attractions and very easy access to get into. Plenty of parking and several entrances once you receive your check in access card. I was highly impressed with this hotel and will definitely return.

Room and service were nothing special. Hotel had a bit of an odor that was unpleasant, but it was not super strong. Breakfast was a disappointment. English muffins were so stale they chipped when placed on the counter.
