Laguna Cliffs Resort & Spa is beautifully situated in the beautiful cliffs of Dana Point and literally next door to Doheny State Park, divided only by a lane. This is one of the most highly sought out hotel properties in Orange County and with excellent reason. There is an overwhelming ambulance of natural outdoor meeting space perfect for all functions regardless of size, budget, and of meeting size. This property is ideal for everyone, whether it be a group, family, individual traveler, business/ corporate travel, etc. While the hotel property can boast about the all its interior meeting, the most impressive is the outdoor space that allows guests to embrace all the natural beauty surrounding the property. There is not a single bad view regardless of where you are standing, sitting or lounging on property. The property has one restaurant on property consisting of 2 floors, each floor offering a completely different ambiance and separate bar areas; which are interchangeably used as meeting space as well. The only restaurant on property rises to the challenge and meets the culinary taste & demands of all its guests. The property consist of 4 separate wings, each with 4 floors and each has a completely different ambiance and theme, for a total of 376 rooms. The beauty of the hotel's layout is that you can remain in your wing of the property and not know that the other 3 exist or ever have to venture away, everything is there. All the rooms are beautifully decorated and styled, each has a balcony with impressive views and all the basic amenities all guests look for.The property can boast of all its full services and amenities, which are too many to name but include a business center, a fitness room, gift shoppe, a Beauty & Hair Salon, a full service spa (including dry sauna, steam room, treatment rooms, locker rooms, and more), spa gift store, and a car rental store managed by Hertz . There is a fantastic workout fitness facility. There are 2 outdoor pools on property, at opposite ends of the property. There is an adult zone pool that is not necessarily quiet & relaxed. Rather it is a highly charged pool area where Adults can have fun with a full service bar. There is plenty of lounging space & patio furniture, but may be difficult to find a spot in the high peak season. Then there is a designed family-kid friendly pool (Splash Zone) with water slides and other kid friendly equipment. Perfect for guests that need or want to travel with their children or teenagers. Something else that is great for Travelers or groups with young children is The Kahuna Laguna Kid's Club, which is where children can play and be entertained during the day with all sorts of activities and games. With everything this hotel has to offer, there is no reason to ever leave the property, unless you are looking to go to the beach.This property is less than a quarter mile from the beach and Pacific Coast Highway. Downtown Dana Point is only 2 or 3 miles south from the hotel’s location. San Clemente is only a 15-minute drive. The closet freeway is the 5 and the Ortega Highway 74 is only a few miles north of the property. The hotel property only has Valet service, which is $27 a day, including overnight.
