"Beautiful new downtown property."

The Motif Seattle is a beautiful, brand new property that has taken the place of the old Red Lion which was previously in its place on 5th ave, in downtown. The Motif is a wonderful re imagining, with a fresh and colorful new design that gives guests a feeling of whimsical luxury. In keeping with its name, the property sports bright colors and patterns everywhere, including in the hallways and meeting rooms. The rooms are spacious and the location is nearly ideal if you are in the market for a downtown property. The hotel's coolest selling point is that it has a lovely bar/restaurant ("Frolic") with a large outdoor deck looking over the city (a rarity in Seattle). This is a popular "hot spot" at night for hotel guests as well as locals. This hotel would be an excellent location for a wedding or social event, but would also work fine for a business meeting. The hotel also sits on top of a pub like restaurant that serves food very late, which is a fun and casual option for hotel guests that are not interested in the social scene that Frolic offers. I would happily recommend this hotel to groups.
