In downtown Hobart, Lake George is a popular destination for fishing and boating. It’s also home to the Lakefront Festival in August. In the fall, pick your own apples and try to make your way through the corn maze at County Line Orchard. Shoppers appreciate our proximity to Southlake Mall, the largest mall on the South Shore. Want to plan a day trip to the Windy City? Take the South Shore line from nearby Gary to downtown Chicago in about an hour.
