This little motel may well be a Motel 6 reborn, accommodations where I spent many amazing vacations with my family growing up. So much nostalgia, so much work went into curating this quaint and cozy motel. Don’t expect all the modern amenities, value the character and the history. Make sure you visit “Grandmas Basement”….a true reflection of my mom’s living room in the early 70’s (minus the pool table, which we will take advantage of next time!) Across the street from the Mayfair Mall and a short drive to the hospital (the reason we were in Victoria) and a short drive to downtown. I definitely recommend this little treasure. Pool, waterslide, hot tub, sauna, backyard with firepit and onsite diner were all amenities available but our trip was simply for medical reasons. But next time! And thank you to all the staff we came into contact with….you were all lovely😊.

I enjoy returning to Friendly Family Hotel Zed. Unique ambience with great staff and affordability. Situated on the Bus Route to go touring the Victoria sights with shopping close by. Great for family get away even for the dog.
