The Millstone Dining Room located in historic Spring Mill Inn is open year ‘round serving three meals a day for your dining convenience. Our spacious dining room features homemade soups, entrees and breads which include cornbread made from stone ground corn from the grist mill in the Pioneer Village. Our handmade desserts include granny white cake, fruit cobblers, cornmeal pie and persimmon pudding which we have available all year long.

Lakeview Room (2,891 Square Feet)
The Lakeview Room will accommodate any Gala Event you might be planning or host a corporate business meeting at your request. The Lakeview room has Cedar walls and floor to ceiling windows that overlook the beautiful wooded area. A variety of settings may be selected with an outdoor appeal and the comfort of indoor climate control. Lakeview will accommodate 50 to 175 guests.
Oak Room (624 Square Feet)
The Oak Room is adjacent to our main dining room and serves a variety of purposes for up to fifty people. The Oak Room is the perfect place for an informal gathering or small conference.
Elm Room (600 Square Feet)
The Elm Room is adjacent to our Lower Level and is very functional for any small occasion for up to fifty people.
Indiana State Park Inns Now Offers Pet Friendly Accommodations!
All Inns now offer a limited number of Pet Friendly rooms and/or cabins for you and your four legged friends. A maximum of two (2) pets are allowed per room/cabin. A $25 per night fee will be charged in addition to the regular room rate.
PARK INFORMATION
Spring Mill State Park offers a powerful illustration of the link between the natural and cultural worlds. The water flowing from several cave springs led to the founding of an industrial village in the early 1800s. Pioneer entrepreneurs took advantage of a constant water source that never froze, using it to power several gristmills, a wool mill, a saw mill, and a distillery. In turn, pioneer settlers shaped the landscape around the village, clearing land for agriculture and timber.
The park today continues to illustrate how nature shapes us and how we shape our environment. A parcel of virgin timber sits in contrast to regenerated forest, a man-made lake struggles to survive against the in-flow of silt from cave-fed systems, and the native flora and fauna face challenges from man’s introduction of new species.
Visitors can explore this story in the park’s four interpretive facilities—the Pioneer Village, Nature Center, Grissom Memorial, and Twin Caves Boat Tour—and see it reflected on the landscape as they hike the trails. The interpretive staff also offers a wide variety of public programs, including an extensive special events schedule. Public programs are offered year-round.
