"Really Authentic Western."
Overall Score5.0/ 5
We stayed for one night, group of motorcycle enthusiasts out on a road trip. Hotel staff was great, check in went very smooth and our rooms were clean and well appointed with the cool A/C blasting when I walked into my room. The General Store has everything and some nice gifts for all. The Saloon was outstanding, bartender (great guy from Boston) really took good care of everyone. Drinks were excellent and a great selection of ice cold beer on tap was most enjoyable. The Bison Burger was the favorite among my riding buddies but I went with the Western Burger that was fantastic. The place was not too packed but about 75% capacity so get there before 6:30 pm if you want to sit at the bar. The decor is incredible and you will feel like you were transported back to 1890. What a fun place. The pool was busy up to 10:00 pm with a nice conbination of young and older travelers who just needed sone relief from the heat. There is a really fun ice cream shop, that had a steady flow of customers all evening. This trip was during the hot season so travelers going this time of year please plan accordingly and be safe. We are planning a dirt bike trip in the Fall and plan to camp and spend our nights in the Saloon chasing pretty girls and telling tall tales 🤠👍🏼.

This is more like a resort than just a hotel. The grounds are lovely. The staff is friendly and responsive. There’s lots to do and see. We’re staying here in the middle of a storm in Southern California and the staff are working hard to ensure our safety. Thank you!

"Great Place to Stay!"
Overall Score5.0/ 5
I had such a great time at this property, just the right amount of luxury. The cafeteria was great, modestly priced with great food and the variety in the general store was perfect. Wi-Fi worked great for Death Valley and the pool was phenomenal. Not a single complaint I enjoyed myself immensely!

"Pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel."
Overall Score5.0/ 5
Given that the hotel is located in the middle of a desert, hours away from any town and getting supplies to the location must be quite challenging, I wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised by my stay at the Ranch. The Ranch underwent a recent renovation and the resort looks very nice overall. I stayed at a room with two queen beds which clean and comfortable. The food options were also nice and not as overpriced as I had read in other reviews. There's a decent all you can eat buffet for about $35/per person for dinner and a more upscale saloon with an a la carte menu. The food at the saloon was actually very good and fairly priced. And the service was great. Overall, I highly recommend staying at the ranch while visiting Death Valley. It's comfortable, offers excellent value and is perfectly located to explore the park.
