Welcome to the Holiday Inn Express and Suites Inverness in Citrus County, Florida. Conveniently located between Inverness and Crystal River, we are in close proximity to local businesses such as Wal-Mart, Lowe's, Citrus Memorial Hospital and the Citrus County Courthouse.Leisure travelers will also love the convenient access we offer to several local attractions including the Homosassa Springs State Wildlife Park, the Florida Nature Coast, and some of the world-class golf courses like the Black Diamond Golf and Country Club. Other nearby activities include fishing charters, as well as manatee and scallop tours on the Crystal River or the Gulf of Mexico. With advance notice, our front desk can make discounted reservations for guided manatee tours. Hotel does NOT have shuttle service of any kind. Standard hotel amenities include free hot deluxe breakfast; microwave, fridge and 32" LCD TV in each room; 24-hour business and fitness center; large outdoor pool; and the friendliest service in town!

Cleaning Policies

We have established a new cleaning protocol to combat COVID-19 by washing high touch areas every 30 min and as often as each guest use. We have Hand Sanitizer offered at our breakfast station and front desk. We also have a key sanitation station so once a guest is done with their key cards we disinfect them for the next guest. We have also shut down our fitness center to comply with State of Florida Health Department, we also offer to-go bags for breakfast and all items are individually wrapped so we are not in contact with any guest food. Housekeeping is deep cleaning all the rooms and using a black light in the rooms to ensure that all areas are clean and disinfected. We have had our chemical company come and up our disinfectant/water ratio so that it may kill the COVID-19 virus within 30 secs on coming in contact with our cleaning chemical.
