The Thunderbird Beach Resort is a tropical retreat on the suger white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. Located in the heart of Treasure Island the Thunderbird Beach Resort is a family favorite that has been THE beach destination for generations of vacationers. With a lushly landscaped courtyard that invites guests to relax around our oversized heated pool and hot tub it is easy to sip a tropical cocktail or dine at Karim's Bistro as the sun sets on another perfect Florida day. All rooms have 2 queen beds with views of the pool and courtyard area or the beach. Gulffront units have private balconies. Standard rooms have refreshment centers(small fridge, coffee maker and microwave); efficiencies have separate galley type kitchen with sink, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, all cooking and dining equipment. Rooms and efficiencies may be adjoined to provide a suite. The Sunset Meeting room has 1200 square feet of meeting/banquet space and is perfect for initmate receptions and smaller meetings and parties. Karim's Bistro caters with personal attention to all your needs. The Sunset Room overlooks the courtyard with a spectacular view of the beach, a perfect backdrop for your special occasion. The Thunderbird Beach Resort is located near a variety of shopping and dining options, as well as area attractions. The Thunderbird Beach Resort is the perfect place to do it all or nothing as all.
