When this was Lark is was very enjoyable and recommended to many people. With this new ownership there is Zero interaction. Will not ever stay here again. In addition, will let the people I've recommended to stay at this place to consider staying at the hotel across the street instead. Very disappointed! Especially for the money not well spent.

They must've recently renovated this place. There are a lot of older features like the bath towels having white monogram letters on it and the bathroom tiles are black circles. The grounds were well maintained, the entry was posh and the room definitely had modern furnishings.

Twice a year, we visit our son who lives in Sunapee. We have stayed at the Bluebird inn the last several times. We love the atmosphere and the rooms have been comfortable. The lobby is a great place for us to visit with family!

Two weeks in a row (two separate visits) I've enjoyed my stay thanks to the comfort and design of the room, the way the hotel is designed and decorated and particularly the great team that's there (Diamond and Amanda, as well as the housekeeping team).

We had an issue that was promptly resolved by the front desk staff. We greatly appreciated their dedication to their customers. The beds were very comfortable and we had a good stay. We'll come back to the Bluebird Sunapee when we are in the area again.

Really enjoyed every aspect of the stay. The decor and comfort of the lodge style living room where you enter, to the design and functionality of the guest room/bathroom, to the staff (front desk administration, housekeeping, etc.). Great place, will be back!

We stayed at the Sunapee Lake Lodge because my family had a block of rooms set aside at a special rate for my niece’s wedding. It served us well, though it wasn’t anything great. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean. The area is quiet, though we did hear the people in the room upstairs stomping around at night.. but nothing major. They have a pool, which was on the grimy side,,and a fitness area, which is one treadmill and a couple of resistance stations. Breakfast was microwaveable sandwiches, cereal, packaged muffins and waffle and bagel toasters. The best thing is that this place is two minutes from Mt. Sunapee and was a short drive to our wedding venue. As a bonus, there’s a fine little bar and grill restaurant right next door with a good beer selection and tasty food of all kinds.

"Great place, but not the nicest."

The staff at the lodge are very friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff is very diligent and respect your privacy. The only reason I took off a star is because of little things in the room, like rust stains in the shower and bathroom. There was also a WiFi issue for about a day and since this place is pretty remote, normal cell signal was unreliable making it a little hard to make phone calls, etc.

The bed was old and uncomfortable and slanted and several electrical outlets did not work nor did the lamp which had to be exchanged out.
