Lots of mirrors. Very comfy bed, Great shower and heating. 24/7 tea or coffee. An oldie, but a goodie. We prefer this old style motel, to large chains.
Good service, nice hotel, clean rooms. You can tell they've put a lot of work into the building.
Property is a pretty basic, older motel but it was both inexpensive and about as close to Miscon at the Fairgrounds as I could get. The exterior is showing some age but is overall well maintained. Rooms are in great shape and clean (and even smell nice!), housekeeping does a good job. The best thing about the rooms is that if you request it and they are available, they will put you in a room with a small fridge and microwave. This was very helpful and allowed me to cut my food costs for the convention by about a third. I still went out to eat several times but I wasn't really thrilled with the idea of having to eat out every meal so the microwave and fridge were very much appreciated. Front desk staffed 24/7 and always very friendly and helpful. Coffee is available in the lobby 24/7 and every morning they put out muffins so there is a small, free breakfast of sorts. All in all it lives up to its website's catchphrase "a nice motel for nice people". Will very likely be booking again for the next Miscon.
